Welcome to this ongoing research about the adaptation of TLS 1.3 - Encrypted Client Hello. With this research, we want to outline the current state of TLS 1.3 - Encrypted Client Hello adaptation to better understand how this improvement for privacy is adapted in the real world. Here, we crawl DNS HTTPS records and analyze them to determine if an ECH key is offered to encrypt further fields of the TLS 1.3 connection. This research is ongoing and is conducted with the Data-Intensive Internet Computing Chair of Professor Vaibhav Bajpai and with the help of Postdoc Dr. Vasilis Ververis at Hasso Plattner Institute. The research is conducted by the Master Student of Cyber Security, Bengin Ă–zdil.
